Welcome to the N601WR Web site. The goal of this site is to chronical the building of my Zenith Zodiac 601XL.

The ZODIAC XL is the newest model in the popular all-metal, two place ZODIAC kit aircraft series from aeronautical engineer Chris Heintz, offering more performance and many new standard features. I'm building the kit version but many builders are building their airplane from scratch.

As the weather cools and the hanger once again becomes inhabitable work once again continues. I've run all of the control cables and electrical wires to the tail and closed it up. .
